Suitable for all types and size of panel
The Elcon range includes three standard frame sizes 155, 185 and 215 to suit panels from 8×4’ to jumbo sheets with custom frames also. Depth of cut ranges from 60mm to 150mm. An electro-pneumatic double cut scoring system is available for cutting faced and veneered panels. Aluminium, plastics, acrylic, cement board, insulation, structural insulated panel (SIP) and other composites can all be cut on an Elcon.

Patented LIMPIO system for superior dust removal
The patented and award winning LIMPIO system from Elcon greatly reduces dust emissions by simultaneously extracting waste from both the front and rear of the panel. The saw blade runs in an almost completely enclosed area reducing dust emission values to less than 0.5 mg/m3. Available as an option for most models the LIMPIO system is particularly advantageous when cutting large volumes of fibrous or cementitious material minimising airborne waste entering the operating area.

Reduce operator panel handling with ADVANCED clamping
The ADVANCE system turns the cutting process on its head. Once the machine is loaded clamps descend and grab the panel(s) from above taking their full weight allowing the operator to work the material from the bottom up. Strip cuts sit on the base of the machine needing no additional support. Each strip can then be immediately crosscut while the rest of the board remains in the clamps eliminating repeat panel handling.

Increasing levels of automation to boost productivity
Depending on the model there is a choice of control methods including manual, semi-automatic, and fully automatic CNC options. The DSX introduces powered saw head plunge and the DSXE includes a fully automatic cutting cycle with further options for auto setting. For ultimate productivity the Quadra model allows multiple cutting lists to be programmed directly at the machine or remotely from an office PC. In conjunction with Ardis optimising software components can be nested prior to generating the cutting lists for maximum yield.
